Looking for an easy, make ahead appetizer? These mini ham & cheese sandwhiches are what you want. Not only are they easy to make ahead, they also can stay warm for an extended period of time. Great for taking somewhere or just leaving to sit out for a while.
Ingredients:
- 2 - 12 count packages of Hawaiian Dinner rolls
- 1.5 lb sliced ham
- 1 lb swiss cheese
- 10 tbs cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup grated onion
- 2 tsp brown or Dijon mustard
- 1 tbs poppy seeds
Directions:
- In a small pot, melt the butter then stir in the onions, mustard & poppy seeds. Stir over low head for a few minutes.
- In a 9x13 pan, place 1 package of rolls. Separate the tops from the rolls.
- Spread the butter mixture on the inside of both the top and bottom pieces.
- Add slices of ham and cheese to each roll. Place the top on each roll.
- Cover in foil.
- Repeat for the other package of rolls.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
