Looking for the perfect southern breakfast idea? Trying to relive your childhood memory of biscuits and gravy after playing hockey on the pond all Saturday morning.
Either way, this is the perfect recipe. The light and fluffy biscuit with just the lightest crunch on the outside goes together perfectly with the sausage and creamy gravy.
Once you serve this for someone, they will keep asking for it!
Ingredients:
1 lbs sausage (Bob Evan's original Pork Sausage or a good store made breakfast sausage)
1/4 cup floor
2 cup milk
Salt
Black pepper
Cayenne pepper to taste
1 bag frozen biscuits (8)
Directions:
Brown the sausage.
Once it is browned, sprinkle flour over sausage slowly stirring it till it soaks up and do everything
Add milk while slowly whisking at the same time.
Add more milk if it's too thick.
Add salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
Take the biscuits out of the bag, put on a greased sheet pan, flat side down, touching each other.
