- 1/2 cup flour (seasoned with salt & pepper)
- 1 tbl olive oil
- 2 tbl butter
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Dave's Insanity Sauce (or other hot sauce to taste)
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup chicken broth or stock
- 1 (14-oz) can diced tomatoes in juice
- 12 leaves fresh basil, chopped
- 1 loaf crusty bread
