When you mention ribs, everyone thinks about baby back ribs. But... doesn't that tiny little bit of meat on each rib leave you wanting more? Say hello to Country Style Ribs. These are big, meaty, manly ribs. These are ribs that don't cost an arm and a leg, but taste like you broke the bank.
This is the perfect rib to serve to small and large groups. Easy to prep, easy to make.
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Country Style Ribs (5-6 ribs)
- 2 tbs salt
- 1 bottle/batch of BBQ Sauce (Guinness BBQ Sauce is highly recommended)
Directions:
- In a large stock pot, add 2tbs sal and bring enough water to a boil to cover the ribs.
- Add the ribs and boil for 40 minutes.
- Transfer the ribs to a medium heat grill. Grill for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes. After the 20 minutes, coat with BBQ sauce and grill for and additional 3 minutes, turn and coat the other side with BBQ sauce and grill for another 3 minutes.
Notes:
- These can be boiled a day ahead. To store, place in a large zip-lock bag and coat with BBQ sauce.
- Bring to room temperature before grilling.
