Notes
-To make your own Amber Malt, simply put 1lb of 2 Row Pale malt on a cookie sheet
and roast in a 350° oven for 20 to 25 min.
-For the Brown Sugar addition, drain 3/4 gallon of the first runnings. Add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Add back to the boil kettle.
-Hoping to have the perfect balance between a brown ale and a slightly hoppy IPA. Added brown sugar to give some dark fruit, molasses and rummy flavors with hints of anise and licorice.
