Who doesn't love jalapeno poppers? Well ok, there are a lot who will pass. But, have you seen anyone pass on a jalapeno popper stuffed with pulled pork, covered with habanero jack cheese and wrapped in bacon? That's what I thought.
We pulled these out recently and they were gone in an instant. Even those who usually pass on a popper, couldn't stop with just one.
Try this at your next cookout as an appetizer.
Ingredients:
6 jalapenos
2 cups pulled pork
2 cups habanero jack cheese (shredded)
6 pieces of thin bacon
Directions:
Cut the jalapeno's in half and deseed. Leave a little of the vein if desired or clean fully for most people to eat.
Fill the jalapeno with the pulled pork, cover with habanero jack cheese, then wrap using a 1/2 strip of bacon.
Grill on a medium-hot grill for 15-20 min till the bacon is cooked through.
