This is a quick and easy appetizer that can be made ahead of time as well.
Ingredients:
- 1 - 16oz package Wonton wrappers (52 wrappers)
- 1 lb Sausage (not cooked)
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- You can also use 2 cups of mixed Fiesta Blend cheese
- 1/2 cup Black Olives, chopped (1 - 4.25 oz can)
- 1 cup Ranch salad dressing
- 2 Chipotle peppers, finely chopped
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a miniature muffin pan with cooking spray.
- Insert wonton wrappers into the muffin pan so as to form small cups. Bake 5-6 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the pan and allow the baked wrappers to cool.
- In a medium bowl, mix the sausage, Monterey Jack, Cheddar, black olives and Ranch-style dressing. Fill the baked wonton wrapper cups with the mixture.
- If making ahead, wrap and place in refrigerator.
- Bake the filled wonton wrappers 10 to 15 minutes, until the sausage mixture is bubbly and slightly brown. Watch closely so the wonton wrappers do not burn.
